The above pictures show Riley's first day out at 10 months old, being shown by Alan Waterman. We were very elated when he got a Reserve to a 5-point major, an outstanding feat for an apricot. Obviously Riley follows in his fathers footsteps, who too as a young apricot puppy on his first day out in the AKC went Reserve to a 5-point major. Special thanks to Terry Farley for assisting in the presentation.
The next weekend out, Riley came away with 2 - 1 point wins. This gives him a total of 6 points in his first 2 show weekends.
We are so proud!
On the second day of the show Riley achieved a 4-point major, again handled by Alan Waterman. To add to this, on his third day he got a Reserve to a 4-point major. Now, if we thought the first day was exciting, you can imagine how we felt walking away from a 3 day show with a Reserve to a 5-point major, a 4-point major win, and a Reserve to a 4-point major.
I'm such a little guy and my whole life is ahead of me. The world is mine to have and I can be what ever I choose. My Daddy is a big star and I love him so much. I think I would like to follow in his footsteps and make him ever so proud of me.
Wonder if I can? Think I am going to give it a try. You never know unless you try!
